Lady GaGa confronted Calvin Harris on Twitter last night (29th October) over claims he made that she had once emailed him for a collaboration.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the Scottish DJ revealed that he had turned down the opportunity to work with GaGa before she hit the big time in 2008 - claiming he didn't like the songs she had sent him via email.
Harris went on to claim that the tracks he received were album cuts and that he wasn't sent any of the songs which would go on to become some of GaGa's well-known hits.
Despite his remarks, Lady G took to Twitter to deny sending Harris an email, clearly taking offence to claims that he had rejected working with her.
The Judas singer tweeted: "Seems to be trendy lately to talk sh*t about "lady gaga" when your albums/singles drop. Y'all should live off your own hustle. #Ido
"Never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it's hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I'm a woman I don't know about EDM right?"
Harris then tweeted: "Jeez you turn down one remix in 2008 and next thing the whole world's on your back."
Contacting Lady G directly, he then replied: "@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn't the intention."
GaGa wrote back: "@CalvinHarris thanks for the apology &explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers."
Calvin responded: "@ladygaga thank u I mean no harm. Looking forward to hearing your work with @zedd I love him!!"
Electronic dance producer Zedd went on to have the last word in their spat, with GaGa retweeting his message - which read: "@ladygaga @CalvinHarris I love you both!!! Let's all hug and have a drink! shave it up!!!!"
As well as clashing with Lady G on Twitter, Harris previously locked horns with Rita Ora after the singer claimed she 'turned down' Cheryl Cole's No.1 track Call My Name - which he produced.
