Lana Del Rey Buys Dinner For Her Fans

Singer reveals she makes friends with fans and takes them out for a meal...

Lana Del Rey has revealed that she likes to make friends with her fans and has got into the habit of socialising and going out for dinner with them.

She told The Sun newspaper: "I still walk down the street and do my thing, run around, get everything, I'll run my errands and stuff like that.

"In California and London I'm getting recognised more and more. It's usually really friendly exchanges - someone will just say, 'Is it you?' And I usually just say, 'Yes'.

"Then we just end up talking and being friends. I've ended up being friends with lots of fans I've met. I've had dinners and stuff like that in New York."

She also admitted that she talks to some of her longer-term fans on webcam.

She explained: "Everything else has gone so up and down, there are people that have been there for years, so we just check in with each other. It's really funny. I've been talking to two girls in Germany for years."

Lana's debut album Born To Die is out on Monday.
