Liam Gallagher is planning to move to New York.
Speaking in an interview with Q Magazine, the hairy-faced Oasis frontman revealed his desire to relocate to the Big Apple with wife Nicole Appleton when his kids have grown up. "I love that city, I buzz off it, said Liam. Nic' was born in Canada, but then she lived there for five years.
That's the next step for me. I want to go to a place where I can just be me."
In moving to New York, Liam will be following in the footsteps of Beatles legend John Lennon, who moved to the US city in 1971. Lennon was famously shot dead by deranged fan Mark Chapman outside his New York apartment in 1980.
But before jetting off to create a new abode in the Big Apple, Liam has some exciting home-based responsibilities at his new house in Henley - starting with decorating. "We've done up one room and can't f***ing decide what to do with the rest, said the eloquent painter.
It's f***ing doing my head in!"
