Lil Wayne Drug Charges Dropped
The rapper is let off this time but still faces future court cases…

Lil Wayne will not face drug charges in Atlanta over an incident in August 2006.
Bottles of prescription painkillers and small amount of marijuana were found at the rapper’s hotel by police at the time.
A Judge in the city ruled that Police had carried out an illegal search so Wayne- real name Dwayne Carter- will not face the charges.
His lawyer argued that the Lollipop rapper was not staying in the hotel room when it was searched.
Controversial Lil Wayne may have got off this time but still faces future court cases. He is still due in court over drug charges in Arizona and a weapons charge in New York.
