Madonna's adopted baby boy David has arrived in the UK to a paparazzi frenzy.

The tot flew from Malawi in the care of his new nanny and a bodyguard last night (October 16) on a private jet and touched down at Heathrow in the early hours of today.

The party then zoomed off to Madonna's house in Marylebone, London, and were followed by the popping flashbulbs of the paps all the way.

From the moment David was smuggled into the house beneath his nanny's grey hoodie, journalists and photographers have hung around Madge's house waiting for another glimpse of the tot.

Controversy still surrounds the adoption with children's charities claiming the singer fast-tracked the process and should have spent 18 months in Malawi - like other people wanting to adopt a Malawian child - before being granted custody of the nipper.

A spokesman for the Queen Of Pop said, "Madonna and Guy have been granted an interim injunction of baby David by the courts in Malawi.

"This interim adoption grants David's new parents temporary custody for 18 months during which they will be evaluated by the courts of Malawi per tribal customs of the country."
