Mariah Carey’s album Angels Advocate was due to be a star-studded remix album, but now the R&B singer has turned her focus towards a new studio project.
The album, featuring remixes and off-cuts from Mimi's last release Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, had a release date for March 30 and was only going to be available at certain shops and on iTunes.
It featured appearances from Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly, Jodeci, Mary J. Blige and Ludacris, to name a few.
Mariah Carey’s management said on her website: “It won’t go to waste. Up Out My Face featuring Nicki Minaj and the Ne-Yo-assisted Angels Cry have already been sent to iTunes, while several other tracks have leaked.
"We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed.”
