Mariah Carey Confirms Wedding

She admits that her and MTV star Nick Cannon are married

Mariah Carey has admitted she is now a happily married woman in an US magazine interview.

In People Magazine the diva revealed her and Nick Cannon got wed on April 30 in the Bahamas. Mariah said: We really do feel we are soul mates - I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.

She had only been dating the star of MTVs Wild N Out- who is 11 years younger than her- for a few months.

Reports say Cannon proposed to Carey just five days before they tied the knot. Though the Touch My Body singer has apparently had a Mrs Cannon tattoo on her back for some time.
