New Bourne Film May Be Prequel

Matt Damon has said the next film in the Bourne series is likely to be a prequel- which he won’t star in.

 

Speaking at the premiere of his new Clint Eastwood directed film Invictus he told reporters:

 

“There'll probably be a prequel of some kind with another actor and another director before we do another one.

 

“We're probably five years away from another one. We've got to get a script.”

 

The British director of both Ultimatum and Supremacy Paul Greengrass recently said he won’t be working on any more Bourne flicks unless he gets a good script.

 

And the star looks unlikely to sign up for another of the action films without the director on board.

 

Greengrass also helmed Iraq thriller Green Zone- which again stars Damon and is released later this year.
