Matt Is The Sexiest Man Alive

Matt Damon has been voted the sexiest man on the planet by People magazine, putting him up there with the likes of Brad Pitt and George Clooney

But humble Matt initially refused the title, writing a letter to the magazine saying he didn't feel worthy of the top spot, suggesting American footballer Tom Brady be named instead.

After accepting the accolade he said "You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime,"
People magazine said Damon's refusal "perfectly demonstrated" the reasons why he was chosen for the title.

His "irresistible sense of humour, heart-melting humility" and "rock-solid family man" status made him the logical winner. Good on you Matt!
