Fox Quit Transformers 3 Over Weight Loss Debate

As speculation starts over who will replace her...

Megan Fox allegedly quit Transformers 3 after a blazing row with director Michael Bay over her weight.

According to The Sun, Fox's dramatic weight loss raised alarm bells with Bay as the 45-year old felt that Megan looked 'unhealthy' and wanted her to gain weight if she wanted to reprise her role as Mikaela Banes in the third instalment.

His comments allegedly led to a huge fight between the pair which caused Fox to throw in the towel on the production.

A source told the newspaper: "Megan stormed out after a huge row with Michael Bay. He thinks she has lost too much weight and looks too frail. He wanted her to put on some weight and it all kicked off."

They added: "The crew don't think she looks well, let alone the wholesome, curvy star they cast in the first film. She's going for this gaunt, pale image and it just looks unhealthy."

With Fox quitting, speculation as to who will replace her in one of the most successful movie franchise in Hollywood history has began.

Prince of Persia star Gemma Arterton is an early favourite to step into Megan's shoes with model Bar Refaeli, Miranda Kerr and Twilight's Ashley Greene all rumoured to be interested in a part.

Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere, 70's pop star David Cassidy's daughter Katie Cassidy and Avatar's Zoe Saldana have also been linked to replace Fox as Shia LeBeouf's love interest.

The Hills star Heidi Montag has also contacted Bay via Twitter regarding the vacancy, begging him to cast her in the next movie.
