M.I.A Cancels European Tour

The Paper Planes singer was due to appear at Londons Roundhouse on July 1 and Latitude Festival this July.

She told a New York magazine: "I'm cancelling because I feel like physically I just have to stop for a second. It's too insane.

The genre-blending star continued: "I think for an artist like me, it's so important for me to be in the streets and go to the same shop every day and see the same people and communicate.

M.I.A has previously played very few UK shows so fans are likely to be let down.

The UK raised- US based singer also revealed shes working on her third album saying: I'm really into writing new songs. I'm going to put out a new record instead.
