The family is said to be divided over Jacko’s daughters moving tribute to her late father that reminded the hoards of mourners that Michael was not only the King of Pop but also a father and family man.

Michael Jackson famously kept his children’s identity a secret by obscuring their faces with masks. Their appearance at his memorial was the first time they had been seen in public since Jacko’s death on 25th June.

In Paris’ emotional speech, Jackson’s daughter said: “Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine and I just want to say I love him so much.”

The 11 year old, who attended the memorial with older brother Prince Michael I and her younger sibling Prince Michael II aka Blanket then burst into tears as she was comforted by the Jackson clan.

However, now it has emerged that not everyone in the family approved of Paris’ tearful speech as an insider has stated: ''It obviously wasn't a good idea to end that way. The good Reverend Lucious Smith tied up the loose ends nicely. Gave the service the proper coda.''

The Chicago Sun Times newspaper also reported a rift between family members: "At the end of the service, there was a bit of a disagreement within the assembled Jackson siblings on stage.”

“While Janet, LaToya and Marlon felt it important for Michael's only daughter, Paris Katherine Jackson, to say a few words, some of the others - including Randy and Jermaine - weren't so sure."

However, others felt Paris’ speech was appropriate for the occasion with a friend claiming: ''I think it made everyone else cry, too, but that was OK. It made people realise this was a grief-stricken daughter pouring out her heart. I'll never forget that moment.''

The memorial service, which followed a private service at the Hall of Liberty in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park attended by100 close friends and family, was watched by an estimated billion viewers worldwide.
