Mickey Rourke Iron Man 2 Pic Released

Fans get the first chance to see Whiplash…

The first picture of Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2 has been released showing the actor as bad guy Whiplash.

The star is currently filming the sequel with the superhero himself Robert Downey Jr and co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson.

According to reports Rourke’s part is actually a blend of Iron Man characters- Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo.

Jon Favreau will again be directing the Marvel comic book adaptation while Sam Rockwell, Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson also join the cast.

Iron Man 2 is scheduled for release in May 2010 and MTV can’t wait to see the sequel.
