Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston Split

Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston, who have been dating for a year have apparently ended their relationship and have turned to Twitter to talk about their heartbreak.

Miley tweeted yesterday “My heart is in two... and it’s all because of you.' a song i am starting to write :) ... why does saying good-bye hurt so much? (sic)"

Meanwhile Justin posted "Haven't been this miserable in a looong time...How many tears are in* there? They've gotta run out soon right? (sic)"

A source close to the couple said the split was down to their ‘busy work schedules’.

In a recent interview Miley spoke of her respect and time for Justin saying "The best thing that's happened to me in a long, long time has been meeting Justin, because he's the most respectful and selfless person I've ever known."
