Beyonce Leads Way In MOBO Nominations

The 2006 MOBO Awards nominations have been announced with Beyonce bagging four and Brit stars Kano and Corinne Bailey Rae landing three each.

Former Destinys Child singer Bey has been given the thumbs up in the Best International Female and R&B categories as well as for Best Song and Video for Dj Vu " a collaboration with her man Jay-Z.

Leeds lass Corinne Bailey Rae meanwhile has had her debut single Put Your Records On nominated for Best Song and been named on the Best UK Female and Best Newcomer lists.

And its good news for UK hip hop dude Kano too " hes been tipped for UK Male, Hip Hop act " alongside international heavyweights Busta Rhymes and Kanye West " and made the Best Video list with his Brown Eyes promo.
