“Playing at the MOBO Awards was great. It was obviously my first time and I didn’t even know I was the only American artists on the bill, I found that out kind of late, but it made it really exciting.

“I got a chance to premier one of my new songs which has been doing unbelievably well in the States, hopefully that translates to success over here also. Liverpool was cool, the people, the perception was a little different, but it was great.”
