New Moon Hits Comic Con

The cast appear to debut new clips for very excited fans…

Clips from the second Twilight film New Moon were shown at Comic Con in San Diego yesterday.

Appearing to present them were heartthrob Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Green and director Chris Weitz.

The stars arrived on stage to thousands of girls shouting: “I love you Rob.” Fans later screamed when one clip showed Pattinson topless.

Speaking to the crowd the Brit joked that New Moon had been easy to film. He said: “Chris (Weitz) and the special-effects team designed a thing that basically allowed me to stand on a green box and look and stay basically expressionless.”

The new footage reportedly showed a lot more sexual tension between Pattinson and Stewart’s characters.

Director Chris Weitz also said this Twilight installment will feature more CGI effects and action sequences. He also said Taylor Lautner did nearly all of his own stunts before joking: “And Rob just kind of stood there looking good, basically.”
