Nicki Minaj's Cousin Murdered

Nicki Minaj is today mourning the death of her cousin, after revealing on Twitter that he has been murdered.

The Super Bass rapper, who is currently on tour with Britney Spears, took to the social networking site yesterday to tell her followers about her tragic loss, stating that her cousin, Nicholas, was killed in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday.

Minaj tweeted along with a picture of her late cousin: "Lived in Brooklyn his whole life. My precious cousin. My baby. Killed last nite."

The Young Money star then added another snap of Nicholas, accompanied with the post: "My cousin Nicholas. Also goes by Juse… Murdered. Last nite. Near his home. Brooklyn, NY (sic)."

The likes of American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and US celebrity blogger Perez Hilton have since offered their condolences to Minaj, with Hilton tweeting: "So horrible! Sending love and light and peace and strength to you and your family."
