Nicki Minaj Surprises 8-Year Old 'Super Bass' Star

The Young Money rapper met Sophia Grace on The Ellen DeGeneres show...

Nicki Minaj has surprised an 8-year old fan who became an internet sensation after performing the rapper's hit tune, Super Bass.

English barbie Sophia Grace from Essex, who shot to fame on YouTube after singing Minaj's song dressed in a pink princess costume, was invited by Ellen DeGeneres to perform on her chat show - unaware that Minaj was at the studio.

Accompanied by her 5-year old cousin Rosie, Sophia sang her rendition of the Young Money babe's tune for the chat show crowd, before Nicki herself walked out on to the set.

A screaming Sophia then greeted Minaj with a hug, as the Moment 4 Life hitmaker told DeGeneres she was was big fan of her performance, stating: "Within five seconds of seeing this video I was calling everyone."

"I was also receiving a billion emails. Everyone was like, 'You have to see this little girl'. She blew me away."

The 26-year old added: "Seriously, we are watching a journey that's about to be amazing. You are incredible. I just want you to stay in school. Music is beautiful but stay in school", before joining Sophia to rap along to Super Bass.
