Nicole Scherzinger Wins Dancing With The Stars

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has won US reality show Dancing With The Stars.

She claimed the title last night along with partner Derek Hough, beating Olympian Evan Lysacek and sports presenter Erin Andrews.

After being announced as the winner Nicole announced: “I'm just so flippin' happy right now!” to the assembled audience.

Earlier in the night it was her dance to Ike and Tina Turner’s Proud Mary that won over the judges. It prompted panelist Bruno Tonioli to announce:

“This has been the best season of 'Dancing With the Stars' ever! You two have produced the most inventive, stunning dances I've ever seen! This [dance] was the crowning glory of an amazing season.”

For the final show of the season contestants who’d already been booted out were brought back for one last dance.

They ranged from ex-Baywatch star Pamela Anderson to legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
