Harry Styles & Caroline Flack Forced To Split?

Reports suggest 1D's management played a part in their break up...

Harry Styles may have confirmed his split from Caroline Flack last week, but reports have claimed his management team may have forced him to end things with the 32-year old.

According to Now magazine, the One Direction heartthrob was under pressure from his management to break up with Flack, over fears that his relationship with the older Xtra Factor host could damage his image.

It is thought that even music mogul Simon Cowell had a say in Harry ending his controversial romance with Caroline.

A source told the publication: "They were introduced via his people, but they weren’t happy when the romance took off. I’m told it went as far as Simon Cowell."

A separate insider also claimed bosses were worried about how Styles and Flack's relationship would be received in America - where the 1D lads are supporting Nickelodeon group Big Time Rush on tour.

They added: "Harry's relationship wouldn't have gone down well at all in the States. There was fear that it could damage their reputation before they'd even got started."

A friend of Caroline's also weighed in on the debate, telling Now: "Harry's family was fine with them, but he was starting to get jip professionally.

"It's sad, but Caroline knew it wouldn't last forever. They'll still be friends and haven't ruled out getting back together - she keeps saying he'd be the perfect man in 10 years time."

Despite their break up, Flack was said to be planning a romantic break away to celebrate Harry's 18th birthday today (1st February).

In other related news, 1D's US management are apparently trying to make Harry The X Factor group's frontman in order for them to join some of America's boyband greats.

A source claimed: "Columbia music execs are rubbing their hands with glee. It looks like One Direction are going to be absolutely massive in America.They decided long ago that Harry is a natural frontman. He’s funny, confident and has a great voice.”
