Paris Hilton Arrested For Cocaine Possession

Star in custody in Las Vegas…

Paris Hilton has been arrested in Las Vegas after police found her to be in possession of cocaine.

Reports state that police pulled over a car late last night on the famous Las Vegas casino strip after they smelt marijuana smoke. Paris was a passenger in the vehicle. After a search, a white powder was found in the star’s purse which was later found to be cocaine.

Las Vegas police confirmed Paris was being held in custody at the Clark County Detention Centre, and was expected to be charged and released on bail later today.

The male driver of the car, thought to be Paris’ boyfriend, nightclub boss Cy Waits, was arrested for drug possession and driving under the influence.

Two months ago the heiress was arrested at the Brazil v Netherlands quarter final World Cup match in South Africa for marijuana possession. All charges were later dropped.

The 29-year-old spent time in jail for drink driving in 2007.
