Penelope Cruz Starts Filming Pirates

Penelope Cruz has started filming Pirates of the Caribbean 4 with Captain Jack Sparrow himself- Johnny Depp.

The gorgeous Spanish actress- who got married to Javier Bardem last month- was snapped shooting in Hawaii in full pirate costume with a hat, sword and boots on.

Cruz plays a swash-buckler called Angelica- who is the daughter of baddie Blackbeard (Brit Ian McShane) and presumably also a love interest for Jack.

The next Pirates movie is subtitled On Stranger Tides and will also star Geoffrey Rush and Stephen Graham.

It’s set for release in 2011 after filming in Hawaii and possibly Cornwall! Orlando Bloom and Keria Knightley will not return to the Disney series.
