Thursday: Pop Shots

Top of the bill this week is the news that tough talking star of X-Factor and The Osbourne's has put a curse on a burglar who stole her favourite item of jewellery from her home.

"The most expensive thing I ever bought was a sapphire that ended up being stolen," Sharon's reported as saying. "I hope whoever has it gets leprosy and their finger falls off!"

All her tough talk isn't enough to deter admirers though, as she goes on:

"A lot of older musicians like to have a list of other musicians' wives who they've s****ed. This particular guy said to me, 'I want to know what its like to s**g Ozzy Osbourne's wife.' I said, 'Well you're never going to find out baby, see ya!'"

Looks like she's been putting her tough X-Factor training to good use!

Someone else who might need to practice her cold shoulder (or maybe not) is Juliette Lewis for whom the enwly single Drew Barrymore has expressed an interest!

Well, that may be stretching it a bit far, though she did describe the actress turned singer as "pretty hot" to US gossip column BANG Showbiz, and said she'd love to follow in her footsteps to take up a career as a singer.

The only problem? People have only ever told Drew to stop singing " probably best stick to the day job babe.

Finally today is the news that Russell Brand is attempting to follow in the well trodden footsteps of Cat Deeley and Simon Cowell and try to crack the US market.

He took the flight to LA yesterday, and said he was determined to "go mental" while he was there.

Apparently he's staying with Courtney Love so we can only assume he means what he says.

Let's hope those Californian Girls have been warned
