Tickets for the summer festivals are snapped up in record time

Promoters of the Reading and Leeds dual site festival have confirmed that 200,000 tickets for the 3 day event sold out in just 24 hours.

Organiser Melvin Benn stated, 'I am over the moon! Absolutely thrilled. This year the festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary as a union of the two sites.

Headlining the August Bank Holiday event are Rage Against The Machine, The Killers and Metallica with more acts yet to be announced.
