Rebecca Ferguson "Buzzing" About Cheryl Cole Tweet

Rebecca Ferguson has responded to former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole's message on Twitter, exclusively telling MTV.co.uk that she was "so happy" to hear from Chezza.

Earlier today, the Girls Aloud beauty took to Twitter to talk about her previous X Factor acts Ferguson and Cher Lloyd, telling her followers: "Feels like I've blinked and we're back in November, its been a crazy year. So proud of what my girls have achieved @CherLloyd and @RebeccaFMusic are doing so well!!"

The Promise This singer then attached Ferguson's music video for debut single Nothing's Real But Love, adding the comment: "Just been watching this…wow."

During our interview with Rebecca, we broke the news of Cheryl's tweet to the Liverpudlian star - who seemed taken back by Cole's comments.

Rebecca told us: "No, I didn't see that! That's so sweet. I actually did not know that wow, that's lovely."

"That makes me really really happy actually - I'm gonna tweet her back now. I haven't heard from her but that's lovely. That's made me really happy."

Speaking of her time on The X Factor with Chezza, Rebecca added: "I enjoyed working with her on the show - I'm buzzing over the tweet. I didn't know she tweeted me, that's so nice - I will have to reply."
