Rebecca Ferguson has exclusively told MTV.co.uk that she's no longer in touch with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, stating they just "grew apart."
The Nothing's Real But Love singer, who split with Malik back in July after meeting him on last year's series of The X Factor, also claimed that despite their break-up, she wishes the 18-year old every success for the future.

When asked whether she was still in contact with the One Direction heartthrob, Rebecca revealed: "We are not really in touch me and Zayn, we just grew apart. I wish him well."
She continued: "He sent me a message on Twitter which was really nice but no, we are not really in touch."
Speaking of whether their break-up inspired the song-writing process on her debut album, Heaven, Ferguson claimed: "I didn't just focus on Zayn - I mean, the relationship didn't last that long."
"I've been in relationships since I was 17, so I just wrote it about my life and meeting certain people and it not working out or it does work out."
The Liverpudlian star added: "I drew upon past relationships and my family member's relationships - things that I'd seen going on around me, things that had hurt me or I was moved by so, wrote about it."
Rebecca, who like Harry Styles rumoured girlfriend Caroline Flack received death threats from 1D fans unhappy about her romance with Zayn, went on to admit that being in a relationship in the public eye was difficult.
Addressing the media interest in her private life, Ferguson said: "I'm not reading the papers, I don't get a chance! When I was in a relationship (with Zayn) it was quite hard, but it comes with it."
