Robert Pattinson has revealed that he can’t work a washing machine.

The Twilight star, fancied by the likes of Jennifer Love Hewitt and widely believed to be a "great catch", has shocked dribbling R-Patz followers everywhere by confessing that he is in fact an idiot. "I'm pretty normal,” said the 23-year-old vampire.

“I can be quite geeky. I wear the same thing every day - I don't know how to use a washing machine."

So aside from Robert’s inability to pour Daz into a slot and press start, what other attractive credentials does R-Patz bring to the eligible bachelor table? "I'm boring,” he says. Oh really? Do tell…

“I like reading, watching movies and playing the piano, and I'm pretty shy. Even when I was younger, I used to be shy. I used to be so shy that even shopping for clothes was a hassle.”

Despite shedding sex appeal by the second, Robert kept talking:

"I couldn't deal with picking up a piece of clothing and someone saying: 'Do you really like that?' In fact, I couldn't handle any shops apart from music shops. I knew what I was doing in them, so I was alright."

Sounds like you need a new heartthrob, R-Patz fans. We hear Dane Bowers is in pretty good shape…
