Robert Pattinson has reportedly said the raunchy sex scenes in his new movie Bel Ami are ‘disturbing.’
The movie started shooting this month and the
Twilight star says specific scenes opposite
Uma Thurman are 'strange'.
Although Pattinson's people now claim the interview didn't happen, according to the Daily Record he said: “The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing. Her character kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal.”
The heartthrob apparently continued: “There's a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I'm asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well."
The film is set in 1890s Paris and sees the young star take the lead role playing Georges Duroy.
According to film bosses behind the project Bel Ami is “an erotically charged story of ambition, power and seduction.”
Also starring opposite Rob are
Christina Ricci and
Kristin Scott Thomas. The lucky boy!
