R Pattz Tipped For Oscar

Robert Pattinson’s latest movie Water For Elephants has not yet been released but he’s already being tipped for an Oscar nomination.

His co-star Christoph Waltz has praised the Twilight man's acting in their new circus based movie.

The German actor himself picked up this year’s Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in February, for his acclaimed role in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.

Asked recently where he kept his statue Waltz replied: “It's in my house, but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!”

Water For Elephants is set for release in April 2011, so R Pattz may have to wait till 2012 for any award show recognition.

His rumoured girlfriend Kristen Stewart is also taking a serious non-vampire related role and has recently been filming On The Road, which if she plays her cards right, could even see her ruling future award shows with R Pattz.
