R-Pattz Buys Kristen Stewart A Promise Ring

As Reese Witherspoon says sex scenes with Rob were disappointing...

Robert Pattinson has allegedly brought rumoured girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, a diamond promise ring, said to be worth a cool $17,000.

According to Celebrity Mania, the Twilight hunk splashed out on the 'classic style' ring, with an insider telling the website: "The ring is rose-cut diamonds set in rose gold. It's a very feminine piece of jewellery and very old."

They added: "The diamonds aren't huge, and it doesn't look like an engagement ring."

It is thought that R-Pattz purchased the expensive item from a jewellery specialist, with the 24-year old actor apparently stating that he "knew Kristen would certainly love it."

Rob may have shown his romantic side by buying K-Stew the pricey piece of jewellery, but the star is said to have left his Water For Elephants co-star, Reese Witherspoon, "disappointed" with his on-screen sex skills.

Speaking to In Touch Weekly, Witherspoon revealed that she was let down by her raunchy lovemaking scenes with Pattinson, stating: "Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I've ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life."

Reese added: "I'm going to say it's a little bit of a downer. I was a little disappointed. It wasn't sexy. He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it and it was not appealing. I'm talking green, infectious, disgusting...I'm not kidding!"
