State Of Play Premiere
And Russell Crowe is in an angry mood talking to MTV on the red carpet…

State Of Play had its world premiere in London last night with star Russell Crowe in typically combative form.
In the film the Aussie plays a Washington Post reporter who uncovers a political scandal.
The famously temperamental Crowe though is no fan of journalists and showed that at the premiere.
Asked by our presenter Laura how it was stepping into the shoes of a reporter Russell adopted a bizarre voice and said: “Very squishy and smelly”
When asked if he had new found respect for the job he said: “No, no… but I do believe journalism is a noble profession.”
State Of Play is directed by Kevin Macdonald (Last King Of Scotland) and co-stars Ben Affleck and Helen Mirren.
Luckily she was on hand at the premiere looking radiant and smiling… Which is more than can be said for grumpy Russell.
