Ariana Grande Is The First Artist Since Michael Jackson To Achieve Four Pop Radio #1 Hits In Under Eight Months

Nothing but respect for OUR queen of pop.

Making music history yet again, Ariana Grande has beaten another world record, and this time she’s up there as the fastest to accumulate four #1 pop radio hits in less than eight months since Michael Jackson.

Climbing to this huge success with four singles between July 21st 2018 to March 16th 2019 - ‘7 rings’ and ‘thank u, next’ from her ‘thank u, next’ album and ‘God is a woman’ and ‘no tears left to cry’ from her ‘sweetener’ album - Grande is the first person since Jackson in 1988 to accumulate four #1'son the pop radio so quickly.

Grande just beats Lady Gaga to such an accolade, as her eight months edges out Gaga - who stretched from July 25th 2009 to March 27th 2010 with hits such as ‘LoveGame’, ‘Paparazzi’, ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Telephone’ - by one week.

Grande took to Twitter to react to the big news:

We got you, girl.

She’s really THAT b*tch. Wow. We stan the best.

Finally, Grande wrote: “surreal and funny and thank u i love u i don’t know how to react to anything but thank u so...... much”

The singer, who recently accumulated the highest streams ever for a pop album for ‘thank u,next’, became the first female to EVER replace herself at the UK #1 spot with ‘7 rings’ and ‘break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored’, and broke the Spotify first day streaming record with ‘7 rings’ as well, is having quite the 2019 already. Not only that, but she also won her first GRAMMY for Best Pop Vocal Album… legends only.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings her and are so excited for her to bring her ‘thank u, next’ tour to the UK in August.
