Kate Winslet Wins SAG Award

Yet another award goes to our Kate and Brit-flick Slumdog Millionaire

Kate Winslet won the Screen Actors Guild award for Best Supporting Actress at a ceremony last night.

Slumdog Millionaire - directed by Brit Danny Boyle - won the ensemble cast award - one of the highest honours at the award show voted for by actors.

In a re-run of the Golden Globes the late Heath Ledger was awarded Best Supporting Actor prize for his role as The Joker. He is also up for the same award at the Oscars next month.

Also at the SAG awards Sean Penn bagged the Best Actor honour for Milk and Meryl Streep got Best Actress for playing a nun in Doubt.
