Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall has stated that she believes the hit TV series-turned-movie has helped parents talk to their children about sex.
The actress, who plays man-eater Samantha Jones revealed to The Daily Star that she was once confronted by a man in a supermarket who claimed to be grateful for SATC's ability to approach sex.

Cattrall explained: "He said, 'You know, you really made it possible for me to talk to my 18-year-old daughter about sex',"
"That was lovely to hear, because it's a big step for a young girl's dad to be able to say to her, 'You know that episode of Sex And The City.. that could happen to you, you know'."
She added: "We had this nice talk but all the while I was thinking, 'Why do we have to be having this talk at the fish counter?'"
Despite SATC2 receiving negative reviews, reports suggest that a third instalment of Sarah Jessica Parker and Co could be on the cards.
