Haiti Single Set For Number One

The Simon Cowell organised Helping Haiti track is certain to hit the number one spot this Sunday.

The cover of R.E.M’s Everybody Hurts features Robbie Williams, Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey and Alexandra Burke.

It looks set to sell over 500,000 copies by Sunday when the chart is announced. That could be up to ten times more than the nearest chart challenger- current number one Fireflies by Owl City.

Everybody Hurts had sold nearly 350,000 downloads or physical copies by yesterday.

All money raised by the track will be donated to the earthquake hit country.

Another group of stars- including Justin Bieber, Usher, Lady GaGa and Barbara Streisand- have re-recorded We Are The World for the same cause. The track is expected to be released later this month.
