Slipknot have been forced to pull out of the Reading and Leeds festivals after their drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle.
Fans are likely to be disappointed as the metal group havent played the UK in years. They were also due to record an MTV session.
Joey has been advised by doctors to rest for 4-6 weeks to prevent further damage.
A statement said: We know you will be hugely disappointed and so are we. Cancelling shows is never an easy decision and we apologize to all our fans, friends and family for not being there to throw down with you.
We will be back in Europe this November and can't wait to see you all then.
Slipknot release their new album All Hope Is Gone on August 26.
