Tobey Maguire & Sam Raimi Leave Spider-Man 4
After issues with the script…

Tobey Maguire and director
Sam Raimi have both left
Spider Man 4- which was due to start shooting early this year.
Sony studio bosses announced the news but said the superhero would return in 2012, just with a new cast and new director.
Last week reports leaked about problems with the script for the fourth Spidey adventure. Raimi apparently disagreed with the studio over which bad guys should feature in the film.
Now it’s been announced that the franchise will get a reboot and the new movie will return to Spider Man’s roots and his time at high school - and possibly in 3D.
Kirsten Dunst and
John Malkovich were also set to star in Raimi’s movie- but now look unlikely to appear in the flick.
