Efron Wants Spiderman Role

Zac Efron has said starring in the new Spiderman film would be ‘a dream come true.’

 

Speaking to MTV US the High School Musical star admitted he’s always been a massive fan of the comics.

 

Asked if he’d be interested in the title role Efron replied: “Are you kidding? It would be a dream come true.

 

“I've got to be honest I don't know if it's a reality. I can't really say. I've been a fan of Spider-Man since I remember being six-years-old and tearing up in that comic book.

 

“I could never get enough. I think it would be an honour. I would tear it up."

 

A Spiderman reboot is due out in 2012 with the superhero saga set to go back to Peter Parker’s time at school.

 

(500) Days of Summer man Marc Webb will direct the new movie.
