Star Trek Tops US Box Office
The film boldly goes to the top of the chart…

Star Trek has gone straight to number one in the US Box Office chart taking a massive $76 million on its opening weekend.
That’s nearly three times as much as the film it knocks off the top- Wolverine.
The Star Trek prequel is directed by JJ Abrams- the Lost creator and man behind Mission Impossible III and Cloverfield.
It stars Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Eric Bana and Zachary Quinto and has been greeted by good reviews from critics.
At the US Box Office romantic comedy Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past is at 3, Obsessed which stars Beyonce is at 4 and Zac Efron comedy 17 Again is at 5.
