Gym Class Heroes front-man Travis McCoy has continued his life changing trip to Bubaneswar in Eastern India on behalf of the Staying Alive foundation.

Travis was greeted by Mandakini, his first female grantee of his journey as he visited his third country in 9 days - the final stop on his trip.

After a traditional Indian welcome, the Papercut singer sat down with the 24 year old in the hospital where she helps HIV+ people live with the disease and the stigma that comes with it.

Visibly shaken by the experience, 28 year old McCoy exclusively told MTV News: “This was the first time the language barrier really came into effect, but she had such an intensity when she spoke that even though I couldn’t understand the words, I could feel the points she was making you know”.

The local community also put on a show for Travis, who recorded the sounds to sample on the special Staying Alive track he has to record on his return to New York.

Finally before leaving he swung by the MTV studios in Mumbai to appear with VJ Jose (aka Condom Man) on live TV to spread the Staying Alive message nationwide.
