Stephen Gately’s Last Song Released By Boyzone

Boyzone are set to release the track Give It All Away- which features the last vocals recorded by Stephen Gately before his death.

 

The song is a re-work of a Mika song which the group have just got permission to release.

 

Gately died whilst on holiday in Majorca last October of natural causes.

Ronan Keating told Sky News about Boyzone’s new single. He explained: “The four of us have given our heart and soul to this to make the best possible record we can make for Stephen and his family.”

 

“Thankfully Stephen had recorded the entire song so we were able to go away and work with what he had done.

 

“I hope the end result does him justice. I think it's beautiful.”

 

Spookily the song opens with Gately singing: “I've learned to live before I die, I've learned to love and learned to try not to give it all away.”

Boyzone release their new album in March.
