Keisha Buchanan has left the Sugababes- in a shock move- and will be replaced by solo singer Jade Ewen.
That means the group that started as Keisha, Siobhan and Mutya now includes no original members.
Previously it was thought that Amelle would be leaving after going missing from the band.
But Keisha announced last night that she was leaving the group she co-founded 11 years ago because of a “breakdown of communication” and “lack of trust” between the members.
However she denied accusations of bullying or arguments adding: “I have nothing but positive things to say about the girls.”
A statement from the ‘Babes label Island said: “The current line-up of the Sugababes has disbanded.
“Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by new member Jade Ewen. They release their album ‘Sweet 7’ on November 23rd through Island Records.
“Keisha Buchanan will continue to record for Island Records as a solo artist.”
It’s thought that Heidi, Amelle and new girl Jade have been recording together this week in LA. Ewen previously represented the UK at the Eurovision song contest.
