T In The Park and Oxygen To Start

The Scottish and Irish festivals are on this weekend

Thousands of festival goers are gearing up for two of the UK and Irelands biggest music events - Oxygen and T In The Park- which start today.

Amy Winehouse, REM, Rage Against The Machine, The Prodigy, Kings Of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs and Chemical Brothers are all playing both three day festivals.

T In The Park takes place near Kinross in the highlands of Scotland while Oxygen happens at Punchestown Racecourse in County Kildare, Ireland.
