Taylor Lautner For X-Men: First Class?

Taylor Lautner is reportedly being lined-up to star in the next X-Men movie.

According to Showbiz411, 20th Century Fox has already check the Twilight hunk's availability for X Men: First Class before offering the 18-year old a role.

The website also claims that the studio has been inspired by the success of the Twilight franchise by recruiting the help of other young actors to join Lautner when the movie is expected to start shooting this summer.

Reports also claim that Benjamin Walker who rumoured to be playing X-Men character, The Beast has dropped out of the production due to the 'uncertainty surrounding casting choices.'

If Taylor is given a role in the flick, he will be joining the likes of James Mc Avoy and Michael Fassbender who have already been given the parts of Professor X and Magneto.

X-Men: First Class is expected to be release on 3rd June 2011.
