Taylor Lautner Splits From Girlfriend

He’s broken up with his Abduction co-star Lily Collins, according to reports…

Taylor Lautner has ended his relationship with 22-year-old actress Lily Collins.

The couple, who never publicly confirmed they were dating, hooked up on the set of Abduction late last year. In the film, the pair play a loved-up couple and the on-set romance soon spilled over into real life.

Their co-star, Denzel Whitaker, said at the time: "It's kind of like that teenage love in high school. It was kind of like, 'Let's go on a date'... I think the chemistry's naturally going to show. It was off set so it definitely came on set."

Lily, who is the daughter of Phil Collins, even visited Taylor on the set of Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, and the pair are said to have met each other’s families.

But now US Weekly has reported that the couple split just days before they walked the red carpet at the US premiere of Abduction on 15 September. 

A source told the magazine: "It was a clean break that Taylor initiated. At the Abduction party, it was awkward. They barely said a word to one another."

In other Taylor news, he recently admitted he became teary while watching Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. “It's an emotional one,” he said of the film. “You see the same characters we've grown to know and love in a completely different light than you've seen them before.”
