Taylor Momsen Takes On Rihanna

Taylor Momsen has slammed Rihanna for trying to be a rock chick.

The Courtney Love- styled 16 year old is apparently unhappy with popstars who want to embrace guitars and leather clothes.

She told Spin Magazine: “People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna's wearing f**kin' leather jackets, and it's really annoying.”

It’s only the most recent example of Momsen - who stars in Gossip Girl and heads group The Pretty Reckless - saying something controversial. In May she told a reporter about her knife collection.

Momsen also told Spin about her band’s music. She said: “I know nobody wants to like our music. Online, people said, 'I really wanted to hate [the EP] but I like it.”

“I hope things continue on that path. But I'll be making more records whether people are listening to them or not.”
