A brand new teaser poster for Christopher Nolan's final Batman flick, The Dark Knight Rises, has been unveiled online.
The image, which was revealed on the movie's official website over the weekend, shows Tom Hardy's brutal villain Bane walking away from a broken Batman mask - which implies the comic book hero could be in for a grisly end.
Cracks also appear in the iconic Batman logo at the bottom of the poster, as well a the tagline 'The Legend Ends' also scrawled across the image.
Speaking of the movie, Nolan has previously revealed that the opening to The Dark Knight Rises "takes your breath away", adding it starts with a bit of a bang leaving time to introduce his audience to the storyline and characters.
It has also been revealed that The Dark Knight Rises picks up eight years after its predecessor, with Christian Bale - who plays the Cape Crusader - confirming that Nolan's third instalment will be his final movie as Batman.
The Dark Knight Rises, which also stars Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine, hits UK cinemas on 20th July 2012…we can't wait!
