Mystery Jets To Tour With The Futureheads

The bands will cover each others tunes too

Mystery Jets are about to embark on a UK tour with Sunderland wonderboys, The Futureheads. After the band remixed The Futureheads recent version of Kate Bush Hounds Of Love, they struck upon the idea to do more than support each other on their forthcoming gig dates. When they take to the stage at Londons Astoria in May, guitarist Will Rees says "Well do some songs together and cover each others songs."

The band are also looking to organise a mini-festival in their hometown of Eel Pie Island, Twickenham. Amongst plans to have a cloaked figure (minus the scythe) getting gig-goers across the river is the plan to have some of their musical pals perform. "Hopefully well get Bloc Party to play" Will comments.
