Lauren Conrad has quit MTV show The Hills after five series to ‘lead a more private life’.

After recent rumours MTV producers stateside have now confirmed the news that the 23 year old will be leaving our TV screens soon.

The fashion designer will be given a big send off at the end of Season 5 which begins at the end of March in the US.

Conrad appeared on Laguna Beach before hitting The Hills so has certainly lived her life in the spotlight.

Producer Liz Gately revealed she is currently evaluating how to continue the series without original Hills gal Conrad.
